Overview of the process from the beginning to the final step, to complete your roof. Please see below to understand the process.
Broward County: 1 month to get a permit
The reason for this is because Broward County requires Asbestos, which can take up to 3 weeks to get back! Which can delay the permitting process.
Palm Beach: 2-3 weeks to get a permit.
Miami Dade: 2-3 weeks to get a permit.
Once the permit is issued, we can schedule the work to begin ASAP!
On this day, the crew will arrive on sight at 8 A.M. & they will prepare the entire job sight
The first inspections to be called are Tin Cap & In Progress.
This is typically done 1-2 days after the roof tear-off is completed!
The time frame of the material loading depends on the type of roof you have!
Shingle Roof: loading happens 3-4 days after the tear-off.
Tile Roof: loading happens 1-2 weeks after the day of the tear-off, if not sooner.
The time of which the Final Inspection is called depends on the type of roof you have.
Shingle Roof: Ready for Final Inspection right after the roof is closed
Tile Roof: This system needs something known as an Uplift test, this is a professional Engineer who performs the test to check that the Tiles will withstand any harsh winds. Once this is done, Then the Final Inspection is ready to be called.
